Lindapter’s steel connectors, appearing in an extensive portfolio of stadia work, have streamlined rapid clamp system installation and eliminated the need for traditional welding and drilling.
Lindapter’s newest product offering is Type ALP— an off-the-shelf adjustable lifting point. Type ALP is a modifiable lift system capable of rigging and lifting equipment up to 3.3 tons (6.6 kips) with a +/- 18° angle from the supporting steel. The installation of the self-adjusting clamp is highly customizable with slotted holes, an adaptable load ring, and the ability to suit a variety of beam thicknesses and slopes.
Type ALP’s versatility makes it an innovative alternative to traditional rigging and lifting. The durable lift system was developed for a broad range of applications influenced by Lindapter’s past structural steel work on projects such as the National Helicopter Museum in Stratford, CT.
The St. Louis Rams’ impending move to Inglewood, California, a potential Chargers-Raiders joint stadium in Carson, and the proposed bid for a Los Angeles 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Summer Games show the rise in demand for American stadium creation.
