Glaser works diligently to maintain a wide variety of customization capabilities to complement our standard parts. If none of our standard threaded rods or stud bolts are quite right for your application, let us know — we’ll work with you to create exactly the type of fasteners you need.

Glaser_Stud_with_mfg_mark1_1The majority of our stock threaded rods are available in lengths of 3, 6, 10 or 12 feet.

If your application requires threaded rods in more specific lengths and you do not have cutting capabilities, we can make those cuts for you.

In fact, we can cut our threaded rods down to any length you need, from 1/2 inch to 11 feet and 11-7/8 inches.

You are more likely to find standard A193 B7 stud bolts in the length you need, as we stock lengths ranging from 2 to 9 1/2 inches. But if you don’t find the stud bolt perfectly sized for your project in our off-the-shelf options, we can manufacture custom stud bolts in virtually any length.

In addition to length, the diameter of our thread rods and stud bolts can also be customized to meet your needs with widths ranging from ¼ inch to 6 inches.

Glaser keeps threaded rods and stud bolts made out of ASTM A193 Grades B7 and B16 alloy steel as well as ASTM A307 Grade A and ASTM F1554 Grade 36 carbon steel in stock at all times.

However, like all Glaser products, stud bolts and all thread rods can be manufactured in any of a wide range of high quality materials.

Other metals that Glaser can use to manufacture rods and bolts include: 304 (A193 B8) and 316 (A193 B8M) stainless steel; A490, Alloy 20, and Alloy C276 stainless steel alloys; Silicon bronze; aluminum; and many others.

Other Customization Options

Though important, we know that length and material aren’t the only considerations you have for your custom stud bolts and thread rods. The other customization options we offer include:

  • Custom thread sizes

  • A number of high quality plating options

  • Custom nuts to match your custom bolts or rods
